Our student union actively takes part in caring for developmental cooperation and the environment. There is an appointed Member of the Board who is specifically responsible for these issues. This person also works with people in the free time activities and the protection of interests sectors to produce themed events. They monitor the University\u2019s work from an environmentally friendly perspective. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The University of Lapland student union took part in the Frame, Voice, Report!<\/a> -project in the year 2019. The week was held in the fall of 2019, week 43.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>\n\n\n\n

A FAIR TRADE UNIVERSITY AS A GOAL <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

LYY is currently working to earn the title of a fair trade university for the University of Lapland. LYY wants to emphasize the consumption of fair trade products in events of the student union and at the office. Fair trade is a concrete way to work together towards a more equitable world. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
